“The love of horses is something you’re born with – the love of eventing is something you choose.”

My Story

The love of horses is something you’re born with – the love of eventing is something you choose. As a kid, I dabbled in various equestrian disciplines but nothing truly captured my heart and soul like eventing. This sport – in my opinion – is simply the toughest thing you can try to do with a horse. Three phases, all so different, yet so essentially intertwined, demand complete dedication. Not only do you as a rider have to strive for perfection across each phase, you’ve got to find just the right partner that’s willing to step up for every part of the game. They have to be obedient enough for the dressage, bold enough for cross country, and careful enough to finish the weekend with clear show jumping rounds. Not to mention the degree of fitness required as we progress through the levels! I am from Charleston, South Carolina but now live in north Georgia with my husband on our 20 acre farm. My horses have all been developed from virtually ground zero. My career has been built with off the track thoroughbreds and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with horses who love the sport just as much as I do!

My Goals

I’m currently competing at the 3* level with my own Flying Again, a 2012 OTTB from the Charlestown racetrack. I am fortunate to have a few young horses coming up behind him owned by an incredible owner and business partner. We have big goals ahead – fingers crossed Flynn will continue to progress through the levels and I have one special 4 year old that will be trying to qualify for a trip to France for the 7 year old Championships in just a short 3 years.

Why I'm Seeking Sponsors

I would love your support to help me continue my journey toward more stars (and maybe a team). I work hard and I do have a great team of people that help support these horses but this is a huge undertaking! Your support helps us move just a little faster towards these goals.

Sponsor Benefits

Sponsorships will primarily help fund additional training opportunities with top coaches in the United States, with a European training schedule planned in the future. Adding your support will help make these goals and dreams a reality. I’d love to be able to share this journey with you! Just a little support goes a long way in helping me move to the next level of the sport.
