🏑 Description

This 4.7 mile trail follows the Amargosa intertie power line, for which it is named, in the southeast part of Henderson. It is partly natural and partly urban. It varies from regular to wide natural surface trail, paved multi-purpose, a short section of sidewalk, and a short rough scramble across a desert wash to fill a trail gap. It starts at the new McCullough Hills TH at the end of Mission Blvd (water and restroom when complete), passes the Hidden Falls TH, Shaded Canyon TH, Paseo Verde TH (water and restroom), and ends at the Reunion Trails Park (water and restroom). The beginning section has nice views of Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley, and the backcountry beyond, the second section is pleasant but no views.
