🏑 Description

Centerville Peak rises 2500 feet above the town of Centerville in Davis County. One of the major advantage of hiking in the foothills of the northern Wasatch is virtually year around accessibility. Utah’s extraordinary winter provides extreme snow fall in the higher mountains and mild winters on the lower western slopes. Depending on the snow conditions this trail can be hiked during much of the winter. The trail on Centerville peak is pleasant for hiking or biking. Several switch backs allow for a steady climb without being too steep. From the top of Centerville Peak the view of the Great Salt Lake is breathtaking. From the peak the trail continues all the way to Skyline Road.
