This trail was meant for horseback riding but it can also be an excellent hiking trail as well. The numbers represent trail posts. On the post there are numbers and arrows showing which way the trail goes. They are usually placed at trail crossings. For the most part there are very little trail markers except in areas were the trail can get confusing. Then there are small round markers with the horseback riding symbol.
You will pass views of the Delaware River and the Kittatinny Ridge in NJ. What made this loop peaceful is the fact that it is hidden. It weaves through many ravines and Valleys were the sunlight does not shine bright.
