🏑 Description

Line Creek Trail is a paved 8-mile trail that winds through neighborhoods and heavily wooded areas. There are several scenic spots including a beautiful, small waterfall and meadows. Wildlife including deer, wild turkey, ducks, geese and other urban wildlife may be seen along the route. This route shows the trail extended slightly using street access on both the south and north ends to connect with the Missouri Riverfront Trail (south end) and the Hwy 152 Trail (north end). You can extend your trip by continuing along those trails. Accessibility: There are multiple designated handicapped-accessible parking spaces plus multiple striped access aisles in the Casino parking lot. The trail surface is smoothly paved concrete and typically at least six feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle, 5% or less except for a few steep sections between 8% and 15% at 3.9 and 4.7-5.0 miles when going north. These have been marked with waypoints. Wheelchair/mobility equipment or stroller users may need assistance in the steep sections or need to turn around there.
