When you turn off the highway, pull in directly to your right. There is field there that is dry (you wont get bogged) and free public parking.

🏑 Description

This is an amazing little trail just outside Marshal, VA, that is just to great not to share with you guys! Part of the national park, there is a car park at the entrance with more than enough room to bring in a horse trailer and get your horses on and off without issue. If you ride at a leisurely pace and stop for a lunch break, its about a 3 hours ride round trip. If you ride with purpose and don’t stop, you can complete the loop in about an hour. There is a fresh stream about half way that runs year round, so your horses can grab a drink there. I have tagged the trail as beginner/advanced. If you take it slow, anyone can enjoy this trail. If you want to test yourself though and ride at pace, then this can be a good challenge. Hope you all enjoy!
