A catalyst for global knowledge
Horses and Humans Research Foundation (HHRF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a singular mission: to serve as a catalyst to advance global knowledge of horse-human interactions and their impact on the health and well-being of people, horses, and other equines. Through educational opportunities offered both nationally and internationally, HHRF funds critical peer-reviewed scientific research that supports equine-assisted services (EAS) and their benefits.

HHRF believes that research has the greatest impact when people understand its value and can access, use, and implement its findings. Research is critical to advancing our understanding of the horse-human connection, and by combining scientific methods with real-world equine-assisted services, researchers can generate evidence to support best practices and inform the field's future.
